A complete list of what to bring will be sent to you in your personalized Welcome Packet. All students will be provided with necessary classroom supplies. If your exploration requires additional or special equipment, you will receive a list of what to bring in your Welcome Packet.

We recommend that you bring:

• Long pants and closed toe shoes for laboratory sessions (MANDATORY)
• Information clothing appropriate for classroom activities and recreation time
• A moderate amount of spending money for optional evening and weekend activities such as bowling, movies, concerts, pizza parties, or buying souvenirs
• Towels and toiletries (bedding is provided)
• Swimsuit
• Alarm clock
• Small fan (optional)

Please DON'T bring:

Electronics such as MP3 players, DVD players, video games

We would prefer to see you interacting with your new friends, maximizing your participation in evening activities, and taking advantages of opportunities not available to you at home!

Valuables
Although the residence hall front desk can lock up your valuables for safekeeping, we do recommend that you leave them at home. Valuables, especially electronics, are distractions. If you do need to bring valuables, it is at your own risk; please label them clearly.
